Objective: increase the competitiveness and effectiveness of the Eastern Lombardy Trade Fair System. Result: a historical agreement.
As Mauro Parolini (Councilor for Economic Development of the Lombardy Region) said in a press conference, while he presented the network contract “Lombardia Fiere” signed by Centro Fiera, Pro Brixia, Promoberg and Cremonafiere.
Lombardia Fiere, which is also opened to the future possible entry of other Lombard fair organizers, today is in fact the system of East Lombardy, a territory that alone accounts for 22% of national GDP and about 10% of total national exports. It will aim to promote the internationalization of trade fair events and to carry out new initiatives, in the Lombardy Region and above all abroad, in order to promote the projection and development of new markets for the Lombard and Italian companies in general. It will offer a great opportunity and a peculiar commercial interest (United States high level catering and gastronomy) to the artisan companies of agro-food and food and wine sectors. Other innovative projects, all with a strong international connotation, are already being studied at Lombardia Fiere to see the light between 2018 and 2019 in one of the associated quarters.
